who am I?

I'm a classically trained vocalist with a Bachelor of Musical Arts from Western Michigan University
ACTIVIST
I stand for human rights-specifically the liberation of Black people across the African diaspora and advocate for autonomy across intersectional identities.
TEACHER
Redesigning music education curriculum in my practice as a teaching artist aims to meet students where they are: musically, behaviorally, and with participation. I validate their musical interests in opening discussions, while exploring intermusicality (reinvented styles of music, highlighting its constant change and evolution.)
